Steroid Biosynthesis – Trilostane	

Trilostane inhibits steroid hormone synthesis by acting on 3b- hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase; it has been used to reduce cortisol and aldosterone production in the treatment of Cushing's syndrome and Conn's syndrome, respectively, but its action is weak.
